In an October 18, 2026 interview on The Cats Roundtable, former UAP Task Force director Jay Stratton described footage he says was presented to him in 2005, showing a black triangular object above a U.S. nuclear missile silo. He characterized the object's apparent flight behavior as unusual and said the experience contributed to later government investigation efforts.

Stratton also discussed a Defense Intelligence Agency UAP investigation initiated in 2008, and said his memoir Out of the Shadows underwent a ten-month review involving 21 agencies. These are his attributed statements; the interview itself does not authenticate the alleged footage, independently establish the reported review process, or verify claims of non-human technology.

The recorded interview is valuable as a primary source documenting Stratton's account. Its historical and institutional claims warrant comparison with independently available government records.

Evidence note: This interview records what Stratton stated; it does not independently verify the alleged video, the object's identity, or associated program claims.
